IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR THE PSAT

Usually, the PSAT is pretty uneventful: students register, take the exam, and forget about it until December, when sometimes shockingly disappointing scores arrive as a not-so-nice holiday present.

But this year, it’s different: the PSAT administered in October will model the revised SAT, set to hit desks nationwide in March, 2016. Why We Love the PSAT (and You Should, Too!)

The National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, otherwise known as the PSAT, is an excellent way to prepare for the SAT's, because the questions are very similar and in some cases identical. And there are no consequences for not doing well on it.
